‘What motivated you to do this?’ the coordinators asked, going round the group.

“To save the world,” he replied to which everyone laughed.

Hello

It’s one thing to have the ‘Save the World’ solution; it’s another to get it discussed.

Despite pride in our [as yet, only quasi-] ‘liberal democracies’ & [pseudo-] ‘battle of ideas’ and an inner yearning for full-civilisation, an interstellar observer could perceive it as a case of:

I’ll do anything for my kids & country except mention ‘Coopetysm’.

However, that alien would be mistaken as it’s more likely due to Coopetysm’s novelty – i.e. we’re used to either ‘winner takes all’ polarisation or centrist lowest-common-denominator compromise yet Coopetysm transcends the Left/Right/Centre-paradigm.

Thus, this is a new discussion-catalysing attempt – ‘Save the World Stand-Up’: https://youtu.be/Ry5oyyi8yzk

Thank you.

Best regards

The ‘Save the World’ Formula

For humanity’s benefit, until it’s solved, every economist should start their day asking:

‘265 years since Industrial-Revolution-Manchester’s ‘National-Product-to-subsistence ratio’ was around 1.3, having gone from the shovel to AI, how can (Australia’s) ‘GDP-to-subsistence ratio’ be only 5 – i.e. GDP per capita is $100,000 and the subsistence-income is, at least, $20,000 per year?’

The world has 5 Big [SEEinG] Picture exponentiating outcome-problems:

  1. Socio-disempowerment
  2. Econo-inefficiency
  3. Enviro-international-invasiveness
  4. Enviro-natural-unsustainability
  5. Government-budget-pressure.

Yet, they’re simultaneously, promptly and blissfully solved via ‘Coopetysm’.

Specifically, the simple singular solution is ‘The USI-4-UMHoW Reform’, which involves substituting ‘The Universal Subsistence Income’ (USI) for both:

  1. Universal Minimum Hourly Wages (UMHoW)
  2. Income-Welfare (including, as well as direct-payments, subsidies (such as for childcare) & tax-breaks (such as for superannuation).

Regarding economists’ ‘start their day’ question, given we have 3 tools – i.e. Science, Human-Organisation & Technology (SHOT) – with S&T exponentiating, the efficiency detractor must be ‘Human-Organisation’.

The CDO hypothesis is: the predominant culprit is the social-disorganisation-infrastructure of The USI-absence & UMHoW/income-Welfare-presence with their direct and, particularly, indirect disaffects summing to include stagnant-productivity & ‘The Cost-of-Living Crisis’.

Lastly, this Reform potentially transcends Left/Right polarisation – i.e. it unifies us – because that polarisation is about prioritisation and, in this case, all 5 SEEinG priorities are simultaneously and comprehensively addressed such that we achieve ‘maximised universal-sustainable-stability-prosperity’.
